Bigger is sometimes better when it comes to a live cam experience. Launched back in 2000, Private Feeds puts most of its focus on large video streams that put many competitors to shame. Despite being one of the smaller cam sites listed at SexCams101.com, they make up for it in some of the areas us webcam fiends love.

The homepage to Private Feeds makes a bold statement in suggesting you'll find your perfect girl inside. While that's an appealing thought, the selection of babes inside is not much different from any other cam site..

You'll find approximately 75 performers online at any given time out of their stable of 1,500. Most of the girls come from Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Czech, Hungary, Romania) with a smattering of Russian beautiest mixed in. Very few British and American girls to choose from, which is a little disappointing. Despite that, the ladies of Private Feeds do have their upsides and put on some quality shows.

One area where the site thrives is their video quality. Shows are played in flash and come start at a size 2-3 times that of the average cam site. You can even double that to a size that nearly takes up your entire screen. There are some framerate issues depending on the connection of the performer, but we were relatively surprised at how well the feed survived a barrage of free chat patrons. Most of the performers also had audio in the event you're an auditory masturbator.

Site Features

Shows are broken down into a few familiar categories. First is your free teaser chat that gives you an opportunity to get to know a model before dropping some coin to see her shake her ass. From there you can take her straight to a private 1-on-1 performance where you can throw the rulebook out the window and get down to business. Another popular option is the "Group Nude Chat" which allows a semi-private nude show at a discounted price. Outside of the basics, there aren't a ton of big features inside PrivateFeeds. There TV-quality streams seem to be the focus, which is fine by us. Performers do have their own profile page that gives their vital statistics. There are some screenshots to accompany those and the ability to rate the model or check out her upcoming schedule. Unfortunately no way to add a favorite or notify you by SMS/e-mail when one of your favorites is online.

Price Information

Pricing is where things get a bit tricky for Private Feeds. First off, they are one of the few cam sites that doesn't offer a free memberhips. You have the choice of a lifetime membership at $1.99 or a special $9.99 lifetime membership that comes with 10 minutes of showroom access. The latter is a pretty good deal, although we cringe when having to pay anything just to be able to talk to the models. The one good thing though is it tends to keep out the riff-raff and beggars.

Show prices are higher than the norm, but understandable with the higher video quality. We noticed most private shows were about $4-$5 a minute. That'll put you in the poor house rather quick if you plan on jerking off to cam girls a daily habit. We could understand the prices more if there were more American girls on the site, but it just seems too high for ladies who don't quick have the English language mastered yet. As we mentioned earlier though, you can get yourself a nice discount by picking up on featured shows when they do happen (can't beat $0.50/minute).

Another small gripe, although one that we understand is done for security is the monthly caps. Currently the standard member can put in $100/month without being hassled. If you want to raise that, you have to start getting your account verified. This can lead to providing identifying informaiton such as a driver's license. While we know it's for safety, and the folks behind Private Feeds are extremely reputable, it's always disconcerning to hand our details over to an adult site.

Ease Of Use

Being a smaller site, Private Feeds is a piece of cake to navigate. The private 1-on-1 girls and the group nude chatters are clearly divided and the video chat is perfectly situated on the screen. A nice touch is to list the other girls below the video feed so that you don't need to click the back button to find another performer. You can narrow performers down by type (hair color, nationality, etc) for easier browsing.

Final Thoughts

Private Feeds is definitely at the forefront when it comes to video technology. Their shows are bigger and clearer than most and provide a unique viewing experience. Unfortunately they just don't have the models to stack up to some of the big boys in the industry and their prices leave something to be desired. I do think everyone should take a look at their video feed (don't need a membership to see that) to see for themselves. If the prices can come down a bit, they definitely will move up the charts quick.
